        Atmata, Minija Rivers

 

  Uostadvaris village is situated 8 kilometers from Rusnë, on the left riverbank of Atmata River, in the island of Rusnë. It is a part of Nemunas estuary Regional Park. In 1907 the water-lifting station was built here. It is a steam turbine, which absorbs the water excess from grasslands and pours it to Nemunas River. There are a lighthouse and a Polders Museum in Uostadvaris. Lighthouse is no longer used for navigation, but now it is the best place to view the panorama of Uostadvaris.

   Uostadvaris is the base of Lithuanian Inland Waterways Direktorate technical fleet.

   Uostadvaris marina is very popular. Every summer there are visiting hundreds of pleasure yachts and motor boats.

    At 54 meters long capital pier  in the harbour can  accommodate  7 - 8  yachts  up  to  15  meters long.

    At 60 meters long  new mobile  berth are 10 - 12 places  for  sailing  yachts  and  motor  boats.

    Depth:  Entrance - 2 meters; 1,7 meters at the piers.

 Distance to Nida - 10 miles and 1 mile to Minge Marina.
